Where your Rover plan, credits, and invoices live — and how sites attach to a plan.
How billing is organized
Rover plans belong to your account, not to a single site. Each plan covers a set number of sites, and you attach sites to it. Open Plan in the Workspace rail to see it — for one site, or across every site from All sites.
- Credits card — the balance left, a usage meter, and the refresh date.
- Plan card — tier, monthly credit allowance, sites used, and the renewal date.
- Sites card — which sites the plan covers. Add the current site in one click, or remove a site to free the slot.
- Other plans — accounts with more than one subscription (one per brand, say) see the rest as compact rows.
A site is an apex domain plus its subdomains — yourcompany.com, app.yourcompany.com, and docs.yourcompany.com count as one site. When a plan is full, adding another site fails with a clear message — upgrade or remove a site first.
Credits
One credit is one AI turn. A typical visitor task takes 1–4 turns. Flows Rover has learned on your site replay at 0.2 credits each, so repeat work gets cheaper.
Where the balance shows
- The Credits row in the Workspace rail — always visible, and it links to the Plan page.
- The Credits card on the Plan page — balance, used-of-granted meter, and refresh date. The meter turns amber at 80% used and red at 95%.
Credits refresh monthly. Annual plans are billed once a year, but credits still refresh every month. Top-up credits do not expire — the Credits card lists them separately.
Running out
Visitors keep using Rover through a 25% buffer past your allowance. After that, Rover only replays the flows it has already learned and shows a calm fallback message, until credits refresh or you top up.Invoices and the billing portal
Manage billing on the Plan page opens the billing portal. Plan changes, payment methods, invoices, and cancellation all live there. The button appears once the account has held a paid plan.

If a payment fails, the plan shows a Payment failed badge and a notice on the Credits card. Fix the payment method in the billing portal to keep Rover running.
AppSumo plans
AppSumo redemptions appear on the Plan page as a lifetime plan. The card shows credits left, the monthly credit grant and its refresh date, and the included Rover tier and site allowance.
- Rover shares your rtrvr credit balance.
- Upgrades and downgrades happen through AppSumo, not the billing portal.

Managed platforms
Sites installed through a platform marketplace bill differently, and their Plan page says so.
- Webflow — Webflow controls installation and removal. Billing runs through Rover's own checkout on the site's Plan page, and existing subscribers manage plan changes, payment methods, invoices, and cancellation in a dedicated billing portal. See Rover for Webflow for the plan table.
- Wix — plans and upgrades run through Wix Billing.
- Platform-billed sites do not attach to your account plans — each carries its own.
