01What do I get for free?
A new account starts with 250 one-time credits, and Free Mode runs everyday tasks at zero credits with a small sponsored card beside the results. You can also use the Chrome extension with your own ChatGPT or Claude plan, API key, or local model. When you bring the AI, rtrvr does not charge model credits.
02What is Free Mode?
Free Mode runs everyday tasks at zero credits for AI inference. In exchange, rtrvr shows a small sponsored card with your results and, on the cloud dashboard, uses de-identified workflows to build derived simulation environments. It is optional, you can turn it off anytime, and a daily fair-use limit applies on the free model set.
03What is Private Mode?
Team and Scale include Private Mode. Workflows in Private Mode run with zero data retention, and Private Mode tasks are never part of the de-identified workflows used to build derived simulation environments.
04What is a credit?
One credit equals one cent. A run uses credits when rtrvr provides the AI or browser infrastructure.
05Do unused monthly credits roll over?
No. A paid plan refreshes its credits each billing month. Unused monthly credits do not accumulate.
06Can I bring my own AI provider?
Yes. Use a ChatGPT or Claude plan, connect an API key, or point rtrvr at a compatible local model. When your provider handles the model call, rtrvr does not charge model credits for it.
07How do I change or cancel a plan?
Open Manage billing from your rtrvr account. Stripe's billing portal handles plan changes and cancellation.
08How do referral credits work?
You and a friend each receive 250 credits after a successful referral. An account can earn credit for up to ten referrals.
09Is Rover included in these plans?
No. Rover demos your product, gets new customers live, and answers their questions inside the product. Rover has its own plans. The plans on this page cover rtrvr in Chrome, Cloud, API, and MCP.
