Build it with us

Your campus.
Your ideas.

We're building Retriever to give people their time back. As a student ambassador, you'll help bring that to your campus, with videos that show what it can do for students.

Start with homework help or job applications. Have a different use case? Bring it to us. We're always open to your ideas and want students to help shape what comes next.

Retriever is free, powered by ads.

A few ideas
to get you going.

See how students and creators use Retriever for homework and job applications. Then bring us your own take.

Your first video could be: finding summer internships, filling out a job application, or organizing sources for a class project. Follow your course's AI rules and keep personal information off screen.

Applications are open

Let's make
something happen.

You don't need a huge following. We're looking for clear videos, original ideas, and a connection to student life.

Creators, student clubs, Greek life, campus media, and students starting their first channel are welcome.

  • Any U.S. college or university
  • Current undergraduate, age 18+
  • Applications reviewed individually

Tell us about yourself.

About 3 minutes. Fields marked * are required.

We use your details to run the program. Your application is private. We'll only request payout details after selection, through a separate secure process.

A few useful details

Before you apply.

Is there a limit on applications or schools?

No. Students at any U.S. college or university can apply. We review applications individually and agree on paid work with each selected creator. Your school does not need to be on an outreach list.

Do I need thousands of followers?

No minimum follower count. Show us a video you like making and an idea that students would find useful. We consider content quality, campus involvement, and audience engagement.

How are views counted?

We use the platform's native analytics for the approved post within its first 30 days. You can claim a bonus as soon as you reach a milestone. Paid boosts, purchased views, and artificial engagement do not count. Cross-posting is welcome, but views from multiple platforms are not combined.

When do I get paid?

The $50 base fee is due within 14 calendar days after your approved video is published, its link is verified, and payout setup is complete. View bonuses are due within 14 calendar days after verification. Claim them when you reach a milestone, with a final deadline seven days after the 30-day window. If you receive $50 at 5,000 views and then reach 10,000 within the window, we pay the remaining $75.

Can I show homework or job applications?

Yes, show research, organizing study materials, and tasks your course permits. Don't use the program to promote cheating or bypass assessment rules. Use your real qualifications in job applications, review what is submitted, and hide private information.

Who owns my videos?

You do. Once paid, Retriever can share the approved video on its own social channels and website for 90 days with credit. Paid ads, whitelisting, exclusivity, and longer usage need a separate agreement.
