For you suggests tasks Retriever can help with, based on your recent work and browsing. Open an idea as a task draft, edit it, then start when you’re ready. Open For you.
New here? Try a template: find 20 LinkedIn jobs, compare a product’s price at five stores, review an X profile, or catch up on five AI stories. Cloud shows two examples at a time. Personalized ideas replace them when ready.
What powers your ideas
- 01
Starter templates: the extension can match known sites in your current and open tabs locally. This adds no upload. Turn browsing off in preferences to use context-free examples instead.
- 02
Recent Retriever tasks: short task requests and outcomes from your account in Chrome and Cloud.
- 03
Open tabs: the extension shares titles and URLs from up to 500 normal tabs once a day, when you first open it. This is on by default. Turn it off in For you preferences.
- 04
Browsing history: optional Chrome permission. The first read samples up to 500 recent URL records from the last 30 days. Later daily reads add new activity. History replaces the open-tab snapshot. It includes titles, URLs, visit times and available visit counts.
Browsing collection excludes incognito tabs, URL queries and fragments, page contents, cookies and passwords. Extension Private Mode pauses collection. Titles and URL paths can still contain personal information. Retriever’s AI providers process the shared context to prepare your ideas.
Refresh and task execution
Open For you or click Refresh to check for ideas. Retriever reuses prepared ideas and only generates again when eligible and the context has changed. Generation runs at most once a day after a successful preparation. Clicking Refresh does not start an agent task, scan your tabs again, or send an email.
Choose Try this task to open a draft. You choose when to run it. Your normal model and task costs apply. Use Cloud to read the full explanation and sources behind an idea.
Email previews
Emails are optional. Enable them in Cloud preferences to receive a short preview and a link to your ideas. Kit delivers these emails. Choose up to one or two per week. Retriever only sends new ideas and slows down or pauses when you stop engaging. Unsubscribe from the email or turn previews off in preferences.
